In your daily life you may use applications to help with assignments, reports, and other things you may have to do in daily life. Programs could include things like Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other processing applications. 

Most daily use of technology will mostly be used for work and entertainment, like in AT&T you may use the computer to load in information, look up issues, make reports for high positions. At home you may use a TV to watch a show, or a computer to play a game or watch videos. both of these scenarios use technology in some way, which some uses may not look like your using a programming language, or anything important, but those apps you use, use some kind of programming, those report you make use a program to copy and transfer information.
